We have also worked internationally including the project Creative Siberia which aims to contribute to positive social changes in Russia by bringing Creative Industries approach and expertise to the Siberia region from the UK and to develop an efficient model for creative clusters initiation & development in the industrial cities of Western & Eastern Siberia including; Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Irkutsk. This project is conducted in collaboration with Centre for Education & Language Development “RTK Initiative”, Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
In 2009, one of our Directors undertook extensive research for his Masters in Social Enterprise dissertaion entitled “An Investigation of Graduate Entreprenurship in Liverpool” for which he was awarded a distinction. The study aimed to inform development of enterprise initiatives that will stimulate entrepreneurial activity amongst the city’s graduate population and also examined how the business incubation concept can be utilised as an effective tool to support graduate entrepreneurs. The research findings have been put into practice both by ourselves in establishing our graduate enterprise project and the Basecamp3 business incubator and also by local policy makers including Liverpool Vision, the enterprise arm of Liverpool City Council. A Copy of the study is available upon request.
Further, to encourage investment and collaborative working with Liverpool, Pacificstream have organised funded Study Visits for European and international visitors.
